A brand that decides its collagen only belongs in vitamin shops never finds out how many shoppers it is missing everywhere else.
That shortlist only functions like a ceiling. Deciding upfront where a brand belongs, supplement stores, obviously, is the kind of decision that sounds strategic and works like a fence. It tells a brand where to stop looking, not where to grow. And once that fence goes up, it rarely comes down on its own. Someone has to ask the uncomfortable question first.
For Obvi, that person was a grocery broker. The question was simple: why can't Obvi be in grocery? Nobody on the team had an answer beyond assumption.
